Cattlestop Crag

Day out climbing with the club at Cattlestop Crag in the Port Hills!
Sun was pumping and everyone was having a great time. First outdoors session leading, setting anchors and rappelling for most of the crew! Spent the day soaking up some rays and having tons of fun on the crag!
The whole crew out with two ropes going and about half a dozen instruments!

Castle Hill Bouldering

Thank God for Coffee! It was a slow start from the night before up at Craigieburn lodge but we managed to rustle a crew keen to head to Castle Hill. We got there and I was amazed! What an awesome spot...it truly is a big playground with so much to explore!

Dive Mission

After plenty of fun trying on wetsuits and dive gear up at the Man Cave and a forecast that would put off most people Christine, Serena and myself headed to the Coro with Cindy in tow on a Dive Mission! We were very lucky and got to hide out at 'The Bach' in Whanga (Cheers LeLe!) What a cool place...look forward to going back in Summertime with the boys and sinking some beers on the new deck! The first day was too rough to go diving but instead I thought i would take the girls surfing...turned out it was not the best day for the girls to learn how to surf but it was fun getting in the water and catching a few waves. Next morning brought sunshine so it was off to Slipper Island to start our underwater adventures!
